Submit Your Art, See it in the film As filmmaker Phil Lawrence has learned through his own personal experience, dealing with SSRI Withdrawal Syndrome can be a brutal process. Often times, conversation alone cannot express both the physical and emotional trauma one confronts; that's where artists may have an advantage to help them cope. Whether you are currently taking antidepressants or have fought SSRI Withdrawal Syndrome, we are now taking submissions of any personal artwork created as a form of expressing your struggle. Any medium is acceptable, including drawing, painting, illustration, sculpture, music, poetry, or even video. We hope to feature your artwork in the film as an additional means of conveying both the emotional and physical agony one may face when dealing with SSRIs. If you have a digital copy of your artwork, please e-mail it along with your contact information to art@uncomfortablynumb.com. If e-mail is not possible, please contact us and we will supply you with our mailing address. Please be sure to include your contact information so that we can return your artwork, and get in touch with you if we use your artwork in the film. |
